Isotrol explores new opportunities for Bluence solutions through direct engagement with the California ISO

As part of Isotrol’s strategic focus on the North American energy market, a team from Isotrol recently held a technical visit to the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) with the aim of deepening our understanding of its requirements for new generation assets.

The agenda focused on the deployment of Remote Intelligent Gateways (RIGs)—a critical component for ensuring compliance and connectivity within the CAISO network. During the visit to CAISO’s control center in Folsom (California), our team engaged in working sessions with representatives from the reliability coordination, stakeholder affairs, and network modeling departments.

These discussions provided valuable insight into CAISO’s procedures and technical standards, helping refine our approach to data submission, modeling protocols, and project approval workflows.

This initiative represents a key step in our ongoing efforts to align Isotrol with the expectations of leading U.S. system operators. By reinforcing our technical readiness and regulatory understanding, we continue to strengthen Isotrol’s position as a trusted technology partner for utility-scale renewable projects in the region.
